Navaris Darson is an actor and senior level improv instructor at The Groundlings Theatre & School. He began his improv journey with Easy Baked Oven at Berry College and later he went on to study improv with To Be Named Later at Valdosta State University where he earned his B.F.A. in Theatre Arts. After moving to Los Angeles, he studied improv at The Empty Stage Theatre until he eventually mustered up the courage to audition for The Groundlings, which has been his improv home since 2008. His TV credits include The Other Two, Two Broke Girls, and Foursome. Additionally, he can be seen in Jimmy Fowlie’s awarding winning web-series Go-Go Boy Interrupted, and he is also in the web-series, Home, which premiered at the 2018 Tribeca Film Festival. Navaris is originally from Fayetteville, GA, where developed his keen sense of humor during his post-adolescent years as a chubby, bespectacled middle schooler with braces. Time well spent!
